Clayton Reads Summer Reading 

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to encourage summer reading! Through a partnership with the Clayton County Public Library, CCPS is enhancing Clayton READS at Home by selecting free eBooks for our Summer Reading suggestions available at Students are encouraged to take three easy steps to continue reading this summer: 

1) Select books of interest from our Summer Reading Lists, 

2) Complete the Summer Reading Challenges Log, and 

3) “Show what you know” by taking an Accelerated Reader quiz at (Grades K to 8 only) 

We are pleased to offer a Virtual Summer School Program in the subject areas of math and reading. This remediation program has been designed to offer additional assistance in skills and strategies students need to excel.



·         Program dates are Jun 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 from 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

·         Students must have access to a device (Laptop, tablet, etc.)

·         Students must have access to internet access
